Moving Mountains and "Vibe Coding": A Transhumanist’s Guide to the Future

Listen, I’ve been in the software development trenches for over 22 years—starting back in 2003 when "the cloud" was just something that ruined your picnic. I’ve seen tech trends come and go, but the era we’re stepping into? It’s different. We are currently holding the power to move mountains with nothing but a few lines of code and a little help from our favorite AI friends.
As a Transhumanist, I’m not just "optimistic" about the future—I’m aiming for a utopia by 2050. I love life, I love what we can build, and I want to give this world every ounce of creativity I’ve got. But as we sprint toward that glorious, tech-integrated future, we need to talk about the "Vibe."
The Art of the "Vibe Code"
There’s a term floating around lately: Vibe Coding. It’s that magical (and slightly terrifying) flow where you toss high-level ideas at an AI and expect a masterpiece to pop out. Don’t get me wrong, it’s amazing! But here is the reality check: You still need to know how to build a foundation.
Rushing big features at an AI without understanding the underlying logic is like asking a giant robot to remodel your kitchen while you’re not home. Sure, you might get a gold-plated sink, but you might also find the fridge is now in the bathroom and the plumbing is connected to the light switches.
The main point? Understanding what is happening under the hood is the difference between being a "Prompt Engineer" and a true Architect. Lost context, bugged dependencies, and "hallucinated" logic can turn a mountain-moving session into a mountain-sized cleanup. Use the tools, embrace the AI, but keep your eyes on the code.
New Games: Shape Me Up & Count Me Up
In the spirit of giving back and building the future (starting with the little ones!), I’ve released two brand-new games through Dragon Lens Studios.
These were designed for children to help them learn and grow, but honestly? They’re pretty addictive for anyone who likes a clean, satisfying loop. Best of all: No ads, no data mining, no nonsense. Just a simple "pay once and it's yours forever" deal.
-
Shape Me Up: A vibrant journey into geometry and spatial awareness.
-
Count Me Up: Making numbers make sense through play.
Grab them here on Itch.io:
We’re building the future, one line of code (and one happy kid) at a time. See you in the utopia!
